If you‘re feeling overwhelmed or stuck in your life or relationship…..there is another way.

You wonder whether you’re the only one who feels that relationships are so difficult and painful at times. The hardest bit is trying to act okay when you’re not.  Inside you’re emotionally exhausted, tired of the same old arguments, disappointment and hurt.  Sometimes it hurts so much, that it physically hurts.  It’s quite normal that you long to be free from the tension, anxiety, loneliness and deafening silences of a relationship that feels like it’s just not working.  It’s as if you’re on a small boat riding the ocean’s stormy waves and you just want to feel your feet on solid ground once again and breath.

Well, you’re not alone.

Relationships are hard. And sometimes they are heartbreaking. When you fall in love, after time you may have found it difficult to hold on to that loving feeling.  If you are trapped in a cycle of hurt, hopelessness and despair it can be hard to picture your life and relationship differently. Maybe you’re feeling confused, scared, or so full of resentment and anger that it seems impossible to turn things around.  There is a different way.

Love is a hero’s journey, and the hero’s journey is a noble but difficult path.  Marianne Williamson

You don’t have to suffer alone. You can heal your relationship wounds, experience stronger, healthier relationships and a more connected and fulfilled life.  Sometimes you just need a little help getting there.  The journey starts here.

A Little About Me

Sandra Harewood Counsellor providing counselling for couples and individuals in South East London

Welcome.  I’m Sandra Harewood.

I’m a registered counsellor deeply committed to supporting the well-being of individuals and couples in South East London and beyond.  From my therapy room in West Norwood, I work with clients to help them make sense of their relationships and why they often feel so complicated.

Many people are repeatedly drawn to relationships which leave them feeling worn out, anxious, unhappy, empty, worried and powerless.  I support my clients to heal from the impact of such relationships and to rediscover their self-confidence, self-esteem and develop a more profound sense of self-awareness so that they can make different choices.

It’s an honour and a privilege to do this work.  You, as my client, come first.  I work with you to help you feel a new sense of aliveness, joy,  fulfilment, wholeness and empowerment.  You develop awareness, and the tools you require to navigate your unique special journey and to craft the life you envision for yourself.

I look forward to being of support to you.
